Cinnamon twists / Pesto Twists
Ingredients:
- 2 Puff Pastry sheet
- 3 table spoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon pesto sauce
- 1 egg
1. Preheat oven to 180 C
2. Cut up Pastry Sheet as shown (bold lines)
3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
4. Beat egg
5a. For cinnamon twist: coat the pastry sheet on one side lightly with the egg (save some for later), then sprinkle the sugar onto the sheet (it’ll stick to the egg)
5b. For pesto twist: coat one side of the pastry with the pesto sauce
6. Fold each strip in half and give it two twists (dotted lines)7. Coat the outside with some egg
8. Bake to 10-15 minutes or until light brown
Pigs in a Blanket
Ingredients:
- 1 Puff Pastry sheet
- 1 can cocktail sausage
- 1 egg
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 180C
2. Cup up Pastry Sheet as shown (bold lines)
3. Drain sausages from can
4. Beat egg
5. Roll sausage up with pastry starting from the bottom of the triangle with the tip on the surface
6. Coat surface of pastry with egg
7. Bake 10-15 minutes or until light brown
Quick and easy and tastes great!
